Description American Blast System’s COVID face mask provides NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection for the face and doubles as a breathable covering to reduce the spread of droplet-spread illnesses such as COVID-19. Please note, the recommendation of wearing face coverings is based on the latest direction by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This mask is not designed for medical use and the manufacture makes no claims as to the effectiveness of the mask in preventing the spread of viruses or other disease. The mask is however rated to Level IIIA standards to resist penetration of virtually every handgun threat up to a .44 magnum and shotgun blasts. It also provides additional protection against shrapnel, fireworks, or other projectiles commonly encountered in riot events. The COVID Mask measures 6.75″ x 5.25″ and is 4/10″ thick. It weighs .3 lbs and is fastened with a 2 point adjustable Velcro system for a one size fits all fit. The covering is 100% breathable cotton.
