Description This centenary frame was created to commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising, a defining moment in Ireland’s history and the foundation of the modern Irish state. Produced as part of a limited edition run, each frame forms part of a historic series created to mark the centenary year. Crafted in sterling silver and manufactured and finished in Dún Laoghaire, the frame carries a special centenary hallmark, designed by the Company of Goldsmiths in Dublin Castle. The mark incorporates the Book of Kells trinity knot and was only available for use on Irish-manufactured silver during the centenary period. The punch was destroyed after 31 December 2016, ensuring the long-term collectability of each piece. Each frame is completed with sustainably sourced Irish wood backing, glass cut in County Wicklow, and is presented in a luxury Dublin-made presentation box. The set includes a printed copy of the original 1916 Proclamation, designed to be displayed within the frame or retained as part of the accompanying booklet. Frame Size: 10 × 15cm Exact Print Size: 10 × 15cm This piece is intended as a lasting historical artefact, suitable for private collectors, institutions, and commemorative presentation.
