Description This larger-format centenary frame was produced to mark the 1916–2016 centenary of the Easter Rising, commemorating a pivotal moment in Irish history. Designed for more prominent display, it offers increased scale while retaining the restrained, formal character appropriate to its historical significance. Crafted in sterling silver and manufactured and finished in Dún Laoghaire, each frame bears a unique centenary hallmark commissioned through the Company of Goldsmiths in Dublin Castle. This additional mark, featuring the Book of Kells trinity knot, was exclusively applied to Irish-made silver during the centenary year and is no longer in use, making each frame a permanent collector’s piece. The frame is completed with sustainably sourced Irish wood backing, Wicklow-cut glass, and presented in a luxury Dublin-made gift box. Each set includes a printed reproduction of the original 1916 Proclamation, supplied as part of the accompanying presentation material.
